Now that meet entry sign ups are open, there are a couple of things that previous Sailfish families may find to be new. To better explain, parents / athletes can now select / suggest individual events that they would like to compete in during dual league meets. *Please keep in mind that these are suggestions and does make the coaches aware of what the swimmer(s) are interested in, but the ultimate decision and approval will be from the coach for certain reasons. 

Parents can also communicate with the coaches whether or not swimmer(s) will be at the meet for the whole duration, have to leave after first half, etc. Please make it known to the coaches whether or not your swimmer(s) will be eligible to compete in any relays (Freestyle Relay being the first event, to the Medley relay being the last event.) *This in no way, indicates whether or not your swimmer(s) will be placed on a relay team. But failure to mention availability and have them be placed on a relay team and not show, will result in them from not being eligible to compete on any relay team the rest of the season.  

Steps in Signing your swimmer(s) up for Meet Entries:

1. Select "Attending" or "Not attending"
2. You may leave events open and let the coaches decide which events swimmers will swim OR; (optional) suggest certain events your swimmer(s) would like to compete in for coaches approval
3. Make sure to state your availability, whether your family plans to stay the whole meet, arrive late or leave half way through to prevent swimmer(s) being placed in certain relays, should they be selected.   

*Reminder, just because you are submitting in events for coaches approval, does not mean your swimmer(s) will participate in those events. This could be for several reasons such as, being legal in certain strokes or coaches would prefer to see certain swimmer(s) compete and get times in other strokes.
